Dillon Francis to DJ for the Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum

NASCAR announced today that multi-Platinum producer, songwriter and DJ Dillon Francis will DJ during pre-race of the 2024 season-opening Busch Light Clash at the Coliseum on Sunday, Feb. 4.

“Having Dillon Francis DJ for the Busch Light Clash adds another electrifying element to an energy-packed event,” said Ben Kennedy, NASCAR’s Senior Vice President, Racing Development and Strategy. “Fans can anticipate a non-stop party starting with Dillon’s pre-race performance at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.”

Dillon’s new album, This Mixtape Is Fire TOO, is out now to critical acclaim via Astralwerks—get it here. The long-awaited sequel to 2015’s This Mixtape Is Fire, a Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart #1, the album features collaborations with REMI AMI, Good Times Ahead, Marten Hørger, Arden Jones, Knock2, Alesso and more. Following album release, Dillon played a series of consecutive L.A. takeover shows celebrating different eras of his career, and on January 26, he will share a collaborative Moombahton EP with Good Times Ahead, Pero Like.

Dillon Francis has been making waves in dance music and beyond for more than a decade, bursting on to the scene in the early 2010s with a series of underground hits. He’s released a number of widely acclaimed full-length projects, including the 2014 major label debut Money Sucks, Friends Rule, 2015’s This Mixtape Is Fire, 2018’s WUT WUT—a Spanish-language LP featuring some of the biggest names in Latin music, the 2019 mixtape Magic Is Real and Happy Machine in 2021. Dillon continues to tour the world over and, beyond music, has starred in the Funny Or Die series “Like and Subscribe” and Viceland’s “What Would Diplo Do?” with additional projects in development.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, racing begins on the Coliseum’s temporary, quarter-mile asphalt track at 1:30 p.m. with the NASCAR Mexico Series’ King Taco La Batalla en El Coliseo followed by the NASCAR Cup Series’ Busch Light Clash at 5 p.m.

The third-annual Busch Light Clash is the NASCAR Cup Series’ season-opening exhibition featuring the sport’s top stars. NASCAR on FOX will once again carry the broadcast for the Busch Light Clash while the NASCAR Mexico Series Race will be on FS1, Fox Deportes, Fox Sports 3 in Mexico, and available pan regionally on Claro Sports and the D Motors channel on DirecTV.

A single ticket purchased is good for both races, and fans are encouraged to get their tickets now while supplies last by visiting www.nascarclash.com.
