Kyle Busch: After selling Kyle Busch Motorsports to Spire last season, Busch will be back in the race today with his former team now owned by Spire Motorsports. In his 13 previous starts in the truck series at Atlanta, Busch has both a series most six wins and 618 laps led in his previous events racing in the truck series at Atlanta.
Crafton: Coming into the race today, Crafton is the only driver to have entered all 22 events at the track for the truck series with one win and one pole with 217 laps led.
Breakthrough win: Last week at Daytona, Nick Sanchez finally broke through in his first win in the truck series after taking home the 2023 Rookie of The Year in the series posting five poles and two top-five finishes. Coming into Atlanta, Sanchez has the possibility of becoming just the fourth driver in history to win the first two races of the season since 2021 the last time it was done by Ben Rhodes.
