NXS: Food City 300 at Bristol Preview

The NASCAR XFINITY Series invades the Bristol Motor Speedway for the 34th annual Food City 300 on Friday. The race will mark the 22nd stop of the year for the series in 2015. Ryan Blaney, who is entered to pilot the No. 22 on Friday, comes into the weekend as the defending race winner.

The NASCAR XFINITY Series entry list features 40 different drivers. Some of these include Brad Teague, Ryan Ellis, Denny Hamlin, John Wes Townley, Hermie Sadler, Brandon Jones, Kyle Larson, Kyle Busch, Benny Gordon, Jordan Anderson, Kevin Harvick, Mario Gosselin and Dylan Kwasniewski.

Chris Buescher has a 24-point lead over TY Dillon in the NASCAR XFINITY Series driver standings coming into Bristol. With 12 races remaining, including Bristol, things still have plenty of time to tighten up. Defending champion Chase Elliott currently sits third behind Dillon by one point. Buescher holds 10 top five and 12 top 10 finishes.

Fans will see four drivers making the cross-over from the Sprint Cup Series. Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch will all be looking to finish the race on top. Both Busch and Harvick have wins in the XFINITY Series at the 0.533-mile oval previously.

Hermie Sadler will climb behind the wheel of the No. 26 Toyota. Sadler will have sponsorship from longtime partner Virginia Lottery on the side of his car. The 46-year old has 261 career XFINITY Series starts with two victories, 18 top five and 44 top 10 finishes.

The Food City 300 will be televised on NBCSN at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Performance Racing Network will provide live radio coverage of the event. =
