Ferris Wheel, Globe of Death, Bmx Stunt Team and Interactive Kid Zone Just a Few of the Fun Entertainment Options for Guests in the Bms Fan Zone

Guests who attend the Food City Dirt Race weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, April 15-17, will find an abundance of entertainment options in the BMS Fan Zone, located at BMS Entrance 1 (North) near the famed Bristol tower and It’s Bristol Baby monument, race officials announced today.

The BMS Fan Zone includes a wide wonderland of shows, activities and attractions, including the return of the popular Ferris Wheel, a NASCAR race simulator, BMS Freestyle bikes, an Axe Throwing station, the extreme Globe of Death motorcycle stunt act, POGO Stick Riders, the BMS Kid Zone and the ultra-popular Food City Fan Zone Stage.

One of the main attractions in the BMS Fan Zone is the Food City Fan Zone Stage, hosted by Josh Mancuso, with Trackside Live segments hosted by Jose Castillo and Hannah Newhouse. The Food City Fan Zone Stage will provide guests with music, driver and celebrity appearances, games, SCC auctions, driver Q&A chats, prizes and so much fun.

Among the scheduled activities include stage appearances throughout the weekend by NASCAR Cup and Camping World Truck Series drivers, along with other special guests and entertainers. One of the highlights will be Saturday night’s post-race concert with country music artist Tim Dugger.

Among the popular attractions in the BMS Fan Zone will be the large and brightly lit Ferris Wheel, which will be giving free rides to guests Friday through Sunday. The BMX Freestyle team will show off their daredevil skills in shows throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday. The amazing Globe of Death will thrill guests as the stunt riders perform inside and oval steel cage on Saturday and Sunday. The POGO Stick Riders also will perform on Saturday and Sunday. Guests can channel their inner lumberjack at the Axe Throwing station and jump inside a state-of-the-art racing simulator to test their race driving skills.

Children also will be able to have tons of fun at the BMS Kid Zone, where there will be Easter Egg Hunts on Sunday; several mascot appearances including BMS’s popular Bump and Run and on Sunday a special appearance by the Easter Bunny; a cornhole game area; Easter coloring activities; an inflatable bounce house and an inflatable obstacle course; photo opportunities and much more. The BMS Kid Zone is open Friday through Sunday in the BMS Fan Zone.

The racing action starts on Good Friday with Bush’s Beans Practice Day that will have both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series machines on track for two 50-minute practice sessions during the afternoon.

On Saturday, Bush’s Beans Qualifying will be held for both Cup and Truck competitors with each series participating in four blind-draw 15-lap qualifying heat races to set the fields for the main races. The Pinty’s Truck Race on Dirt will follow Bush’s Beans Qualifying with an 8 p.m. (ET) start (FS1, MRN Radio, Sirius XM NASCAR Radio).

The Food City Dirt Race will showcase the NASCAR Cup Series on a dirt track for the second time in the modern era on Easter Sunday, April 17, when the green flag drops at 7 p.m. (FOX, PRN Radio and Sirius XM NASCAR Radio).
