Exclusive Jimmie Johnson Family Ticket Packet Available for the TMNT 400 at Chicagoland Speedway

Chicagoland Speedway announced today that fans can purchase the exclusive Jimmie Johnson Family Ticket Package for this year’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 race on September 18. This year’s event at Chicagoland Speedway will be the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, and Johnson has teamed up with NASA to provide an educational experience for kids with the NASA Rockets 2 Racecars STEM Education program.

On race day, kids will learn the inherent similarities between rockets and racecars through STEM activities led by local teachers trained by NASA in the Rockets 2 Racecars curriculum. In addition to these activities, kids will also receive a 12 page activity booklet to explore throughout the remainder of race day. Finally, the ticket package will culminate with a Q&A session with Johnson who is no stranger to the science of speed lesson that is built into the program.

“We’ve seen a lot of success with these packages in the past; it’s always great to show up on a Sunday morning and see a huge crowd of families and kids with their Lowe’s 48 gear on,” said Johnson. “Our partnership with NASA has also been a great addition over the past year and gives the kids fun, educational activities to do on Sunday morning.”

The day will launch into high gear when families enter Chicagoland Speedway and assume their premium seats to watch Johnson lay it on the line against the sport’s top competitors.

The Jimmie Johnson Family Ticket Package is $48 for adults and $23 for children and is located in Section “L” at Chicagoland Speedway. Offer valid only on NASCAR Sprint Cup race day,.
