Texas Motor Speedway Has Spring in Its Step Heading Into Sunday’s Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400

Texas Motor Speedway’s return to its popular spring NASCAR date has helped generate sold-out inventory in nine sales categories and attract guests from 14 international countries and 50 states and the District of Columbia for Sunday’s Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 Cup Series race.

The Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 (2:30 p.m. CT, TV: FS1, Radio: PRN, SiriusXM, Lone Star FM 92.5 locally) will mark the first points-paying spring race since 2019 and a return to an annual date on the Cup Series schedule that dates to the opening of the speedway in 1997. In 2020, the global pandemic moved the race date to July and the following two seasons the NASCAR All-Star Race was run in lieu of a spring event. Last season, the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 served as the Round of 12 opener for the NASCAR Playoffs in late September.

Sunday’s race has attracted guests from all 50 states and 14 countries, include as far ranging as Australia and Singapore. The other dozen countries being represented at the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 will be Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, England and Uruguay.

The rekindled interest domestically and abroad has led to Texas Motor Speedway selling out its Sunday inventory in nine categories. The list consists of both entry-point seating levels ($59 and $79), the next three complete price levels of seating ($99, $109 and $125), Restart Bar, Burnout Alley RV area on the backstretch (entire weekend), Ultimate Fan pass for enhanced pre-race access, and separate Speedway Club appearances by NASCAR Cup Series drivers Christopher Bell and Ross “Melon Man” Chastain.

“Tickets and camping are still very much on sale for all three days of the Autotrader EchoPark 400 NASCAR tripleheader weekend but we’re thrilled to announce that many categories of our Sunday inventory have already sold out,” said Texas Motor Speedway Executive Vice President & General Manager Mark Faber. “We’re looking forward to a weekend of great weather, fantastic NASCAR racing and nonstop activities and entertainment for all to enjoy.”

Tickets are still available for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at four price points, beginning at $115. For those looking for a more premium experience, limited tickets remain for the Turn 1 Terrace ($160). For those unable to attend Sunday’s marquee event, tickets including for the Restart Bar, also are available for Friday night’s SpeedyCash.com 250 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday’s Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Xfinity Series race (12:30 p.m.). Weekend camping spots are still available as well.
