B.J. McLeod Motorsports Charged For Las Vegas With Batteries Plus Bulbs

On the heels of two back-to-back respective performances in the first two NASCAR XFINITY Series at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway and Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway, B.J. McLeod Motorsports is feeling recharged heading to Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway (LVMS) this weekend.

The Mooresville, North Carolina-based team announced today that Batteries Plus Bulbs®, who paired with the newly founded XFINITY Series team last month has extended their partnership for Saturday’s Boyd Gaming 300 at LVMS.

And like last week, Batteries Plus Bulbs® will have a double dose of competition on track as the Hartland, Wisconsin-based company will also support Todd Peck in the No. 99 Batteries Plus Bulbs® Ford Mustang as he prepares to make his third XFINITY Series start.

“We have really enjoyed our partnership with Batteries Plus Bulbs®,” said team principal and driver B.J. McLeod. “This three-week stretch of racing on the west coast is a lot of fun, but also demanding at the same time, but we are looking forward to kicking things off at Las Vegas.”

The Batteries Plus Bulbs® race cars will look slightly different for the third race of the season, as the team will unveil an updated look for the Boyd Gaming 300. Carrying the similar slick-looking paint scheme on the No. 78 driven by McLeod, his car and Peck’s will feature a reflective burst around the Batteries Plus Bulbs® signage.

“The updated look is perfect for the west coast swing where we’ll see warmer temperatures and plenty of sunshine,” added McLeod. “We have some accomplishable goals for Vegas this weekend and the next two races and I’m looking forward to delivering for Batteries Plus Bulbs®, their franchisees and our fans.”
