Brad Gives Back in the Newton Club at Iowa Speedway

Brad Keselowski, 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion, hosted a party on Friday night in Iowa Speedway’s Newton Club to benefit his charity, the Checkered Flag Foundation. The Checkered Flag Foundation strives to support those individuals who have sacrificed greatly, including military members, veterans, first-responders and their families. For a $10 cover, party-goers had an opportunity to meet Brad and take part in a live auction of exclusive racing-themed items, with all proceeds benefitting the Checkered Flag Foundation. There were a variety of items, including a signed Rusty Wallace fire suit and a Team Penske “VIP” Package.

Keselowski will drive the Team Penske Discount Tire No. 22 in the American Ethanol E15 250 presented by Enogen on Sunday, June 19. Keselowski has won three NASCAR XFINITY Series races at Iowa Speedway, including the inaugural U.S. Cellular 250 in 2009. “Miller, Time with Brad” revelers were treated to the sounds of international music producer and DJ – Michaelis. He first performed at a NASCAR event when he set the mood for the 2014 edition of the U.S. Cellular 250, putting a signature twist on driver introductions and setting the standard for pre-race hype. Since debuting at Iowa Speedway, Michaelis has gone on to produce the driver introduction music for the 2015 Chase For The NASCAR Sprint Cup and performed at the 2015 edition of NASCAR After the Lap in Las Vegas.
