NKNPS: Jesse Little Wins Iowa Speedway Pole

Jesse Little captured the pole for tonight’s Autolite Iridium XP 150 at the Iowa Speedway after posting a fast time of 23.883 seconds, 131.893 mph. The pole this afternoon will mark the first for Little in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series competition. Tonight he will try and translate the pole into his second career win in the series.

Starting in the second spot will be Brodie Kostecki after running a time of 23.952 seconds, 131.513 mph. Tonight will be Kostecki’s 12th career start in the East division. The second-place starting spot marks the second best qualifying effort for the driver from Australia. He goes into the race Friday evening looking to score his first career series win. He was just 0.069 seconds off of the top spot.

Starting right behind the two front runners in third will be Kyle Benjamin after posting a time of 23.973 seconds, 131.153 mph. Tonight’s third-place effort will tie him for his best in three starts in the series. He hopes the Iowa Speedway will be kind to him and give him the win. He was just 0.090 seconds off of the pole sitter.
