Matt Mills will once again be piloting the No. 15 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro for Saturday’s Pocono Green 250 at Pocono Raceway.
Mills has one start Pocono in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, in which he qualified in 19th place and was running well before a rear gear failure sent him to the garage.
“I’m very excited to be back in the car this weekend, especially at track where I’ve run well before,” said Mills. “When I raced at Pocono in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, I qualified really well considering it was my first time racing there. I’m feeling very confident about the new aero package that the Xfinity Series cars will be using this weekend; I think it will really work in my No. 15 team’s favor.”
NASCAR Xfinity Series practice is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. and 3:05 p.m. ET Friday. Qualifying will start at 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, and the Pocono Green 250 will get the green flag at 1:00 p.m. ET on FS1.
