Ryan Preece scored his sixth top-20 run in the past eight races Sunday with an 18th-place finish in the Drive Sober 200 at Dover International Speedway.
Preece, driving the Meding’s Seafood/Iron Source Chevrolet, finished two laps down and retained his 17th-place standing in the Xfinity driver standings.
“We had a decent car,” Preece said. “Dover is a tough track to get a handle on, but we were running pretty good most of the day – able to race with the lead group quite a bit. It was a good day.”
Preece ran as high as ninth.
