NXS: Ty Gibbs claims pole for BetMGM 300 at Charlotte

In his second start in the Xfinity Series for the season, Ty Gibbs would power to the pole at a speed of 30.475(177.194 mph) in his eighth career series pole.

Following Gibbs would be Kyle Busch the all-time winner in the series with a time of 30.598(176.482) rounding out the top five would be Chandler Smith, Jesse Love, and Jeb Burton.

Noah Gragson who is back in the series with Rette Jones Racing making their debut will start from the 18th spot as one of the drivers pulling double duty this weekend, Van Gisbergen and Elliott both will join Gragson to start 29th and 30th respectively.

Only two cars would fail to qualify after Akinori Ogata would spin the car off turn four and fail to qualify the car and Jade Buford who is returning to the series.

The BetMGM 300 is set for 1:00 p.m. ET on FOX.
