After two off weeks, the Nationwide Series returns to action in Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway.
Jeffrey Earnhardt will drive the Flex Seal Chevrolet in the race, a 200-lapper around the 1.5-mile TMS course.
Earnhardt is three races from completing his first full season in the series. He’s 18th in driver points entering Saturday’s event.
“It’s been a pretty good year,” Earnhardt said. “We’ve had some good runs and some races where we should have gotten better finishes. But I’m looking forward to closing out the year with three big weeks.”
After Texas, the series moves on to Phoenix before ending the season at Homestead-Miami in south Florida.
Practice is scheduled at TMS at noon and 4:30 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:15 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 3:30.
