Jeffrey Earnhardt parked his JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet 93 laps into Saturday’s Kansas Lottery 300 because of a damaged radiator.
Earnhardt bumped into another car while trying to avoid an accident and smashed the radiator on his No. 4 Chevrolet.
“It’s unfortunate,” Earnhardt said. “We had gotten the car up into the teens before we got into trouble. Sometimes you just can’t avoid those kinds of problems.”
Earnhardt finished 29th.
Kyle Busch won the race, and Chase Elliott stayed in the series point lead.
