Creed also has two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts in Richmond, where he holds a best finish of 11th.
  • COTA RECAP: After qualifying seventh, Creed was forced to start from the back of the field due to mechanical issues thar required repairs prior to the green flag. On lap four, Creed encountered further adversity as he went behind the wall due to alternator issues that left him six laps down when he rejoined the field. Despite the early struggles, Creed showed speed and earned three of those laps back. Unfortunately, the early setbacks were too large to overcome and Creed finished the day three laps down in 32nd place.

Sheldon Creed, Driver of the No. 18 Friends of Jaclyn Foundation Toyota GR Supra:

“What are your expectations going into Richmond this weekend?”

“The main goal is to get our momentum back. We faced some adversity in COTA but it’s a long season and I’m glad we’re getting some of the hard lessons out of the way early. Going into this weekend, I’m focused on getting back to the strong runs we’ve been having and keeping the car clean. This program has a good track record at Richmond so it’s a matter of getting out there and executing. I feel good about our chances to compete.”
