Tim Dugger, Trackside Live – Dirt Edition Highlight Thor Family of Companies Camper Party for Autotrader Echopark Automotive 400 Race Weekend

The Thor Family of Companies Camper Party will provide a wide range of free entertainment with music from Tim Dugger and a Trackside Live show on Saturday, April 13, outside of the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track.

The Thor Family of Companies Camper Party is being held in conjunction with the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR tripleheader weekend at Texas Motor Speedway as well as the High Limit Sprint Car races that evening on the speedway’s adjacent dirt track.

The entertainment begins at 4 p.m. CT just outside the main gate of the TMS Dirt Track with another edition of Trackside Live featuring co-hosts Kenny Wallace and Jose Castillo. This will be a special Dirt Edition with several special guests, led by 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson and former Cup Series star Kasey Kahne.

Kahne and Tanner Thorson will be the opening guests (4:05 p.m.) and followed by the tandems of Brad Sweet/Cory Day (4:20 p.m.), Rico Abreu/Brent Marks (4:35 p.m.) and Larson/Zeb Wise (4:50 p.m.).

Immediately following the show, Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter will hold a live auction of memorabilia and other racing-related items to benefit the TMS’s official charity.

Inside the TMS Dirt Track, the High Limit Sprint Cars will open at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps and qualifying prior to the official opening ceremonies at 7:15 p.m. Following the 30-lap, A-Main finale that begins at 8:45 p.m., musical entertainment will get underway in the parking lot outside the venue 15 minutes after the checkered flag.

The Navy Band Southeast will serve as the opening act for the evening’s headliner, Tim Dugger. The American country singer and songwriter is visiting as part of the Tim Dugger and Friends Tour that is stopping at 10 Speedway Motorsports NASCAR race weekends this season.

Dugger’s racing and country music roots run deep. The Alabama native developed a passion for songwriting as he spent summers jamming with bluegrass pickers at his local music store. When he later met NASCAR team owner Richard Childress, Dugger was hooked on America’s most popular form of motorsports. Since then, Dugger has brought his two passions together by performing his original songs and popular covers at racetracks all across the country. Fans have enjoyed Dugger’s songs and his habit of bringing surprise guests onto the stage to share in the fun.

“I’ve played several of these tracks and I always have the MOST fun with the race fans,” Dugger said. “For 2024, we’re going to kick it up a notch and throw some big-time parties before those green flags fall. Can’t wait to go coast-to-coast with Speedway Motorsports and the best sports fans in America.”
