Landon Cassill continued his late-summer roll through the Nationwide Series schedule with a 14th-place finish in Friday’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
Cassill has finished in the top 16 in five of the past seven Nationwide races.
He ran as high as eighth in the 250-lapper at Richmond and finished on the lead lap. He probably could have scored a top-10 run if not for developing tire grip issues over the final part of the race.
Cassill stayed in 11th place in the Nationwide driver standings. He is 25 points behind 10th place.
