A three-car accident left Jeffrey Earnhardt with a 32nd-place finish in Friday night’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway.
Earnhardt qualified 21st but had little time to try to improve his position. On lap 90, he was involved in an accident with Jeff Green and Joey Gase and was forced to park his Flex Shot Chevrolet. The backstretch wreck caused the fourth of six cautions during the race.
Earnhardt remained in 18th position in the Nationwide driver standings.
Sprint Cup invader Kyle Busch dominated the race, leading all 250 laps on the way to victory. Chase Elliott kept the point lead.
