Blake Koch is set to make his TriStar Motorsports debut in the No. 44 Son of God Toyota Camry during the DRIVE4COPD 300 on February 22nd at Daytona International Speedway.
Koch’s best career finish at the speedway came back in 2012 where he finished 17th during the season opener. During the 2013 Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead Miami Speedway, Koch qualified second and finished the 200-lap race in the 11th position.
“I’m pumped to get on the track with my new team. They have been working hard for months and it will all pay off with a good finish,” said Koch. “I’m really grateful for this opportunity to race for TriStar and have good veteran teammates to lean on. I am also proud to be promoting the Son of God movie. It’s a life changer and I encourage everyone to go see it.”
Derived from the award winning series The Bible, Son of God will debut in select theaters on February 28th. Koch along with the No. 44 Son of God Toyota Camry show car have been traveling through Florida, as well as a stop at Liberty University, promoting TriStar Motorsports and the Son of God movie.
