Kansas Recap…Making his first career NNS start at Kansas Speedway on a windy and cold Saturday afternoon, Piquet Jr. looked to make the most of his only trip of the 2013 season to Kansas Speedway in the Kansas Lottery 300. Piquet Jr. and his No. 30 WORX Yard Tools team started the weekend by qualifying 14th at the 1.5-mile oval. Despite being involved in an accident towards the end of the race, Piquet Jr. and his No. 30 WORX Yard Tools team were able to stay on the lead lap and battle for the rest of the afternoon, coming home with a 20th-place finish.

Watch and Listen…The Dollar General 300 can be seen live on Friday night, October 11 on ESPN2. Race coverage will begin at 7:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on PRN Radio as well as SiriusXM Satellite Radio, channel 90.

Nelson Piquet Jr. on Charlotte Motor Speedway:

“I am really looking forward to getting back on the track this weekend in Charlotte. We had a tough race last weekend in Kansas, but I think we can turn it around and have a solid finish on Friday night. This is a home race for WORX and they will have a lot of people joining us at the track. It’s also WORX’s last race as a primary sponsor on our car, so I hope to get them into victory lane.”
