WorldVentures- and Stalk It-Sponsored Car Finishes Strong Despite Crash at Talladega

On Saturday, May 4, more than 100 WorldVentures™ travel club members participated in a NASCAR DreamDay™ event at Talladega Superspeedway, and watched WorldVentures- and Stalk It-sponsored driver Robert Richardson Jr. finish strong despite a crash late in the race.  In true Talladega fashion, the race delivered “The Big One,” a multi-car pile-up, on lap 92, which included Richardson.

“Talladega was an eventful weekend for everyone at R3 Motorsports,” Robert Richardson Jr. said.  “We had a really fast car during the race, but one of the crashes toward the end damaged our WorldVentures/Stalk It Chevy and prevented us from getting our first win.  I’m very proud of my team for their determination, hard work and focus this weekend. Thank you to all of our loyal fans at WorldVenturesand DreamTrips™ for your support.”

WorldVentures Field Liaison Dan Stammen expressed excitement about the initiative and Richardson’s performance on Saturday.  “Our DreamTrips Members were thrilled about our sponsorship. The exciting nature of NASCAR and its drivers’ amazing determination, as demonstrated by Richardson’s today, is turning so many of our members worldwide into fans,” he said.  “We consistently make every effort to add greater value to our vacations and to exceed our members’ expectations with varied and unique travel experiences.  Saturday’s NASCAR DreamDay event allowed members to meet Richardson and his crew, tour the garage, take photos with our sponsored car, and even have the opportunity to have their name inscribed on the hood of Richardson’s car. Richardson’s stellar performance, in spite of the difficulties, made this DreamDay even more memorable for everybody, and particularly for our DreamTrips fans who have bonded with him lately.”

WorldVentures and DreamTrips, together with Chevrolet, Stalk It, Daddies Board Shop, Orangatang and Telluride Brewing Co., sponsored R3 Motorsports’ driver, Robert Richardson Jr. and his car #23.  Despite the crash, the rain, and the low visibility due to the approaching sunset, Richardson placed 20th at the Nationwide NASCAR Series Aaron’s 312 event, which included veteran stock-car racers, Danica Patrick and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
