O’reilly Auto Parts Goes Big With Sponsorship Near New Start/Finish Line at ISM Raceway

ISM Raceway and longtime sponsor O’Reilly Auto Parts today announced an expanded partnership that will give O’Reilly sponsorship of the track’s iconic crescent near the new start/finish line. Similar to the field or tri-oval grass seen at other tracks on the NASCAR circuit, ISM Raceway’s new crescent is a space expanding over 100,000 square feet, created between the race track and the new pit road when pit road was moved further into the infield to create optimal sightlines for fans in the grandstands.

The track crescent is located near the new start/finish line and between Turn 3 and Turn 4, providing a wide apron where O’Reilly will place some incredible signage. At 466 ft. x 210 ft., the logo will be nearly one and half times as long as a football field in the most prominent area of the track. The location is sure to become one of the most memorable in racing as restarts and the finish will all take place in a turn. O’Reilly will debut its sponsored branding of the area as part of the track’s Opening Weekend on November 9, 10 and 11.

“With the new location of our start/finish line, the crescent area will become one of the iconic signage locations in racing,” said Julie Giese, President of ISM Raceway. “O’Reilly Auto Parts has been a tremendous partner to us over the years and we’re pleased to expand our relationship by providing them a prominent stage in addition to the other activities they will support surrounding race weekend.”

As part of the agreement, O’Reilly will host the O’Reilly Auto Parts Pre-Race Party in the crescent on Sunday, November 11 ahead of the Can-Am 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series semifinal playoff race. In addition to access to this one-of-a kind party, fans who purchase INfield wristbands will also get an up-close look at the interactive garage area, driver appearances, access to Gatorade Victory Lane, brand-new food and beverage options and even an opportunity to sign the new start/finish line.

Founded in 1957 with a single store in Springfield, Missouri, O’Reilly Auto Parts now consists of more than 5,200 stores in 47 states, offering quality automotive parts and supplies to both DIY and professional customers. “ISM Raceway was always a great place to watch a race and with these new updates, it’s only going to get more exciting,” said Tim Herbel, Event & Sports Marketing Manager at O’Reilly Auto Parts.

In addition to the Can-Am 500 on Sunday, November 11, the 2018 ISM Raceway Opening Weekend will also feature the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 semifinal playoff race on Friday, November 9, as well as the Whelen Trusted to Perform 200 Xfinity Series semifinal playoff race on Saturday, November 10. The races will be the first events at ISM Raceway following its two-year, $178 million modernization project.

Limited tickets still remain for the 2018 Opening Weekend and Can-Am 500, starting at $47. Weekend packages, which also include the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, start at $67. Tickets are available online at ISMRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the ISM Raceway ticket office.
