TMS Unveils DFW Business Acceleration Club Catering to Companies in the Metropolex

Texas Motor Speedway has launched the DFW Business Acceleration Club that is created specifically for local market businesses to engage in an exclusive yet affordable partnership opportunity with the largest sports venue in the state.
Texas Motor Speedway is integrating three key elements into this platform for Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex businesses that are interested in taking a unique approach to business development. The Business Acceleration Club provides expansive business-to-business opportunities via an array of local partners, marketing assets that reach the track’s loyal fan base as well as exclusive hospitality at the speedway’s premier NASCAR and INDYCAR races.
“As a result of various discussions with companies in the Metroplex, we determined that we needed to provide a solution that helped businesses network and drive transactions,” said Texas Motor Speedway Vice President of Sales Jason Wonderly, who recently joined the organization from Penske Racing in early August. “With that objective in mind, we created the DFW Business Acceleration Club with the purpose of providing strong and localized business-to-business opportunities through a number of assets and deliverables that will drive a return on investment.
“The Club also allows brands to connect and engage with the most loyal fan base in all of sports and provides the ability for companies to entertain existing customers and prospects in a shared VIP environment.”
With Dallas-Fort Worth accounting for 22 of the 50 public companies in Texas to be on this year’s Fortune 500 rankings as well as being among the top 10 in the nation for the number of small businesses, the DFW Business Acceleration Club has the versatility to cater from the smallest to the largest local companies.
For small to mid-size businesses, the Club offers affordability to entertain clients, prospects and employees at a major sporting event and the opportunity to expand their business contacts. For the larger or Fortune 500 companies, it’s provides a viable yet low-cost entry into the motorsports industry with room to grow the brand in a variety of ways.
With an entry point of $28,500 annually, the speedway has developed a turnkey program that encompasses all three of Texas Motor Speedway’s major races – the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday, April 8; Texas INDY 600 Verizon IndyCar Series race Saturday night, June 9; and the AAA Texas 500 Monster Energy Cup Series playoff race Sunday, Nov. 4.
Texas Motor Speedway’s DFW Business Acceleration Club provides the following in these categories:
  • B2B – In addition to a relationship with Texas Motor Speedway, the Club will help condense the sales cycle for your company by way of facilitating meaningful business introductions with other Texas Motor Speedway partners. The objective is to introduce, grow as well as strengthen business relationships that ultimately lead to transactions. The shared VIP environment will inspire meaningful business conversations with other like-minded decision makers that take part in the program; the speedway also plans on working with partners to customize their approach so the assets work extremely hard in the way of driving a substantial return on investment. Examples include building customized sales incentive or employee engagement programs that ladder up to a particular objective or objectives the company has in place.
  • Marketing – On-site visibility of your company during all three major event weekends, with branding opportunities on the world’s largest TV; full-page, four-color ad in each of three race programs.
  • Hospitality – A 15-person VIP package the features a luxury B2B suite with all-inclusive upscale food and beverage for all three races; VIP pit passes and cold garage passes; stage-side access for pre-race concerts by prominent musicians and driver introductions; exclusive access for four to the post-race celebratory champagne toast in the members-only Speedway Club, and VIP parking.
Club partners will have access to take part in the Texas Motor Speedway Partnership Summit that will be held in April of 2018. The summit will condense the sales cycle for the partners by creating direct and indirect B2B opportunities with the speedway and its affiliated partners that take part in the program. The event will feature guest speakers to discuss pertinent sales and marketing topics, best marketing practices in sports and entertainment, and other topics that are relevant to the marketplace. There also will be updates and opportunities that relate to Texas Motor Speedway and concepts to generate a stronger return on investment.
The speedway also will provide the unique opportunity for Club partners to participate in a NASCAR driving school. Through the Team Texas Driving Experience, partners will get behind the wheel of an actual stock car and have the ability to reach speeds in excess of 140 miles per hour on Texas Motor Speedway’s famed 1.5-mile oval.
Texas Motor Speedway will debut the DFW Business Acceleration Club with a soft roll-out for interested companies for the AAA Texas 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race on Sunday, Nov. 5. The pricing will be prorated for this event, but will offer the majority of Club benefits.
“Many think you have to spend six or seven figures to get into major-league sports, but we are offering a way to make your mark for a small investment,” Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage said. “It includes business-to-business opportunities; inventory with on-site visibility including Big Hoss TV, the world’s largest TV; hospitality and a post-race champagne toast with the winner of our biggest races. No matter what goods or services you have to offer, this is a way for everyone to race with the biggest and best in erican sports.”
With a crowd capacity in excess of 190,000, Texas Motor Speedway is among the largest sports stadiums in the United States and features an array of amenities, including the world’s largest TV, that make it one of the premier venues in the world of sports.
The 1.5-mile superspeedway located in Fort Worth plays host to two races in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, XFINITY Series and Camping World Truck Series as well as one in the Verizon IndyCar Series and SPEED Energy Stadium Super Trucks.
