With a high demand for premium, reserved infield RV camping spots for Talladega Superspeedway’s much anticipated upcoming triple-header weekend, May 5-7, the track has created a new, prime RV lot location after selling out the popular infield nearly two months ago.
The new “Finish Line RV II” area will consist of 19 new, secured spots, conveniently located just past the Start/Finish line near the entry to Turn One across from the wall that separates the track surface from the infield. The spaces are approximately 25’ x 50’ on a level, gravel lot, and 10 of the plots will occupy the front row facing the track directly, allowing for a bird’s eye view of the on-track action from the unique Start/Finish line into Turn One.
Each spot in the new Finish Line RV II compound will come with two infield admissions, two Pre-Race Pit Pass Upgrades, as well as a Tow Vehicle pass. The Pre-Race Pit Upgrades for the GEICO 500 on Sunday, May 7, will allow access to stroll pit road, watch the red-carpet entrance to the Driver/Crew Chief Meeting, and get a front-row seat to both the Driver Question/Answer session and Driver Introductions. Pricing for the front row spots are $1,500 each while the others in the area are $1,300 each.
Additional weekend admissions (up to 8 additional admissions per spot are offered) will be $180.00 each and will also include a Pre-Race Pit Pass Upgrade. The track’s other inventory of infield RV spaces has been sold-out for the fifth consecutive NASCAR weekend at Talladega Superspeedway.
“The Finish Line RV II lot is located in a prime area here at Talladega,” said Speedway Chairman Grant Lynch. “This new area gives fans a chance to experience the infield at Talladega in a secure location that also gives a great view of the happenings on the race track between the Start-Finish line and Turn One. In addition to viewing the action on the track, the infield is a great place to be for our social activities, including the ‘Big One on the Blvd.’ on Friday night with our drivers overseeing fan competitions, then on Saturday night with The Charlie Daniels Band headlining our traditional concert.”
Creating a one-of-a-kind fan experience has always been an important part of the events at Talladega, especially when it comes to the track’s infamous infield, also known as NASCAR’s “Party Capital.” The new Finish Line RV II area will give fans the opportunity to experience everything Talladega.
