Eve 6 to Play Pre-Race Concert on Saturday, April 29 at Phoenix Raceway

Fans attending the Verizon IndyCar Series Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix at Phoenix Raceway will be entertained with live music prior to the race as popular multi-platinum rock group Eve 6 will perform at the Main Stage at 4:30 p.m. MST on Saturday, April 29.

The SoCal pop-punk trio of singer/bassist Max Collins, drummer Tony Fagenson and guitarist Jon Siebels formed in 1995 and enjoyed meteoric success in the late ‘90s and early millennium that ingrained their anthemic radio hits into the fabric of the lives of a whole generation.

The band was not even legal drinking age when they signed with RCA Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1998, attaining platinum success with hit singles “Inside Out” and “Leech,” the former capturing the No. 1 spot on the Modern Rock charts and crossing over successfully to Top 40 radio.

After a short break, the band is back reunited and re-energized, releasing a new album Speak In Code eight years after parting ways in 2004.  As the fourth full-length release for Eve 6 and their debut on new label Fearless Records, the album heralds not just a return to form for the threesome, but a new chapter in the bands history.

The concert, which resulted from a partnership between Phoenix Raceway and Niner Sports & Entertainment, is just one part of race-day excitement and is free to all fans with a grandstand ticket for the Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix. Tickets for the race start at $35, and are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com or by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223).
