Team Notes

Kaulig Racing has made eight NCS starts at Kansas Speedway.
The team has earned a top 15 and five top-20 finishes at Kansas.
So far in the 2024 season, Kaulig Racing has earned four top 10s, 10 top-20 finishes and led 28 laps.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the cup car and going to Kansas again. I’ll be able to take all of the experience I got from the first two starts and apply them to this one. I enjoy working with Travis [Mack] to try and get better every race. I’m excited to have Project Wyoming on the car and Kafka Conveyors. I’m super thankful to Chris Rice and Matt Kaulig for the opportunity. ”

  • Derek Kraus on Kansas Speedway

No. 16 Project Wyoming Camaro ZL1

Derek Kraus will make his third-career NCS start this weekend at Kansas Speedway.
Kraus earned an eighth-place finish at Kansas Speedway in 2023 while driving for Kaulig Racing in his only NASCAR Xfinity Series start at the track.
In six-career starts at Kansas Speedway in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, Kraus earned one top-five finish and four top-10 finishes.

“For some reason, I have always enjoyed going to Kansas. It’s a racetrack that offers a lot of different lanes and options as a racecar driver. The weather is always a question mark going there this time of the year, but this race team is ready to go and try to have a good weekend and keep our momentum going.”

  • Daniel Hemric on Kansas Speedway

No. 31 LA Golf Camaro ZL1

Daniel Hemric has made two NCS starts at Kansas Speedway and earned his first-career pole award at the track in 2019.
After leading five laps at Dover Motor Speedway last weekend, Hemric has led a total of 14 laps in the 2024 season and has earned back-to-back top-10 finishes for the first time in his career.
