Lyft partners as Official rideshare of Phoenix Raceway

Phoenix Raceway is proud to offer fans a safe and affordable way to and from the Can-Am 500 race this weekend with Lyft, the fastest growing on-demand transportation service in the US.  As the exclusive rideshare provider, Lyft will be promoting the Safe Ride Program with deals throughout the weekend, including a $50 ride credit for new passengers with the code: PIR16.

“We’re excited to partner with Lyft as our official rideshare provider at Phoenix Raceway,” said track President Bryan R. Sperber. “Our partnership will offer fans a safe travel alternative with an industry leader as they make plans to attend this weekend’s races.”

“Lyft is thrilled to be the exclusive rideshare partner of Phoenix Raceway. We look forward to continuing our work together to see how we can make it even easier for people to use Lyft as a safe, convenient transportation option to and from the track,” said Lyft’s Phoenix General Manager, Drena Kusari.

Starting this Friday, Nov. 11 when gates open, race fans can catch their Lyft at a designated pick up and drop off area near Gate 7 at Phoenix Raceway. The partnership is an extension of Lyft’s involvement with motorsports in 2016, as they previously had NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Danica Patrick act as an “undercover Lyft” driver earlier this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmLLmGsFGMQ

As the semi-final race in the Chase for the top-three series in NASCAR, Phoenix Raceway is set to become an even more dramatic destination in this year’s NASCAR season, as the Chase format was extended to both the NASCAR XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series. For the first time ever, each race during the Can-Am 500 weekend will determine the final four contenders that will advance to compete for each series’ title – the #Phoenix4.

Tickets for the upcoming NASCAR race weekend are still available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the PIR ticket office.
