The Offspring to play first on-track concert prior to Can-am 500 at Phoenix

The first on-track concert at Phoenix Raceway will feature THE OFFSPRING, presented by Can-Am, performing a short set on pit road before the green flag drops for the Can-Am 500 on Sunday, Nov. 13. Fans with an El Sol Pre-Race Pit Pass will have free access to the concert.

The Can-Am 500 is the final race in the Round of 8 in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. After the race, the field of championship contenders will be trimmed from eight hopefuls to the final four drivers – the “Phoenix 4” – that will race for the championship the following week.

THE OFFSPRING are Dexter Holland (vocals, guitar), Noodles (guitar), Greg K (bass) and Pete Parada (drums). Among their best-known hits are the rock anthems “Self Esteem,” “Come Out And Play (Keep ‘Em Separated).” “You’re Gonna Go Far Kid,” and “The Kids Aren’t Alright.” The Huntington Beach, California-based band has performed over 1,100 shows across the globe and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Their 1994 release Smash remains the highest-selling album of all-time on an independent label.

For just $65, fans can get closer than ever to the action with an El Sol Pre-Race Pit Pass. In addition to enjoying the pre-race concert, the pass also includes opportunities to watch driver intros from the track, take a photo in Victory Lane, sign your name on the Start/Finish Line and catch a glimpse of the cars as they roll out of the garage onto Pit Road.

Tickets for the upcoming Can-Am 500 NASCAR race weekend start at just $35. Individual tickets and season tickets are available online at PhoenixRaceway.com, by phone at 1-866-408-RACE (7223) or in person at the PIR ticket office.
