Briscoe takes the checkered flag in the ARCA Racing Series Scott® 150

Chase Briscoe, Cunningham Motorsports and their No. 77 Big Tine Ford, were able to recover from a minor error in pit road in the early stages of the race to pick up his fourth win of the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards at tonight’s Scott® 150. In tow were Wes Townley and Christopher Bell, who finished second and third respectively.

Briscoe’s win this evening was paired with his first-ever bite of the iconic Eisenberg foot-long hot dog, and what better way to taste the sweet taste of victory than with a Chicago-style dog with all the fixings. The hot dog included the traditional yellow mustard, chopped white onions, sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt. This new Victory Lane tradition was introduced in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series last season and will continue on within each race this weekend.

“That’s something that my parents have been trying to do for 21 years now,” said Briscoe of his taste of the Chicago-dog. “The victory certainly helped on that.”

Rounding out the top five in today’s 16th running of the ARCA Racing Series at Chicagoland Speedway were Kyle Weatherman and Dalton Sargeant, who finished fourth and fifth respectively.
