Acts added to the Oral-B USA 500 Pre-Race Pit Party at Atlanta

What do a trapeze artist, motorcycle “Globe of Death,” BMX stunt team, lumberjack competition, human cannonball and a sword swallower along with Atlanta’s most popular party band have in common? They are all part of the Pre-Race Pit Party for Oral-B USA 500 on Aug. 31.

A Pre-Race Pit Pass will provide stage front access to the performance by Yacht Rock Revue and all the front stretch activities which also include the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver introductions.  In addition, pre-race pit pass holders will have the chance to view and photograph the 43 car starting field parked along the front stretch.  Access for pre-race pit pass holders will begin at 4 p.m.

A limited number of Sunday only pre-race pit passes are available for $100 while kids 12 and under can get a pre-race pit pass for $50.  A weekend pre-race pit pass valid for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is only $125.  A grandstand or infield ticket is required for each pre-race pit pass holder. A pre-race pit pass will provide access to the pit area and for no additional cost will also provide stage front access on the track for all the Pre-Race Pit Party activities.

Human Cannonball artist David “The Bullet” Smith will highlight the carnival activities at the Pre-Race Pit Party.  The IronJack Lumberjack competition will dazzle patrons with a “no-holds-barred” lumberjacking feud.

In addition, a trapeze artist and a sword swallower from the Imperial Opa Circus will enthrall the crowd. The King BMX Stunt Show along with motorcyclists swirling around the “Globe of Death” will keep attendees on the edge of their seat.

“The Biggest Labor Day Party in the USA just got even bigger,” said Atlanta Motor Speedway President Ed Clark. “Yacht Rock Revue puts on a spectacular show and the thrilling pre-race carnival activities will entertain attendees of all ages.”
