Talking Stick Resort returns as race sponsor at Phoenix

The 2014 season will be a big one at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) as the track celebrates its 50th anniversary. PIR President Bryan R. Sperber announced today that the track’s spring NASCAR race weekend will begin with the Talking Stick Resort 75 NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West race.

“Phoenix International Raceway is proud to once again partner with Talking Stick Resort to kick off our golden anniversary season with the Talking Stick Resort 75,” Sperber said. “The K&N Pro Series-West is a vital developmental series where many of the future stars in our sport get their start and we are excited for them to open their season here in Phoenix.”

This marks the third consecutive year in which Talking Stick Resort has been the title sponsor for the spring race in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series-West at PIR. This year’s race will be the longest in that three-year period, with the race scheduled to last 75 laps, up from 60 a year ago.

“It is a thrill for Talking Stick Resort to again serve as a sponsor for NASCAR race. The partnership is, all the more significant this year, as we help the raceway celebrate this monumental milestone,” said Ramon Martinez, director of public relations for Talking Stick Resort. “Additionally, we recognize that when not enjoying the excitement of our entertainment offerings, many of our guests enjoy the excitement of NASCAR, we are pleased to accommodate them.”
