New Primary Sponsor Partners With Gilliland At New Hampshire

Bill McAnally Racing’s Todd Gilliland will partner with Fire Alarm Services, Inc., (FAS) as his primary sponsor for the first time when the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East makes its annual visit to New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon on Saturday.

Gilliland will be behind the wheel of the No. 16 Fire Alarm Services Toyota Camry as he competes in his first race at the 1.058-mile track that is known as the Magic Mile.

The event, the ninth of 14 races this year, will be televised on NBCSN on July 21 at 11 p.m. ET.

Gilliland drives the No. 16 NAPA AUTO PARTS Toyota Camry while running the full schedule as a rookie in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West this season – as well as racing in select K&N East events during the course of the year. The 16-year-old third-generation driver from Sherrills Ford, North Carolina is a member of the NASCAR Next program that spotlights NASCAR’s rising stars.

Fire Alarm Services, Inc., served as an associate sponsor on the BMR entry driven by Gilliland at the K&N West races at Tucson (Ariz.) Speedway and Colorado National Speedway. Headquartered in Arvada, Colorado, Fire Alarm Services, Inc., provides commercial property owners a single source for all their fire and life safety needs. It has provided 24-hour service throughout the country since 1997.

Saturday’s race will mark Gilliland’s fifth appearance in the K&N East. He has one win, two top-five, and four top-10 finishes in his four starts.

He won the season opener at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway in February, finished fifth at Connecticut’s Stafford Motor Speedway in June, was seventh at Columbus (Ohio) Motor Speedway earlier this month, and had a ninth-place finish on the high banks of Bristol (Tennessee) Motor Speedway in April.

In the K&N West, meanwhile, Gilliland is second in the championship standings and leads in rookie points – with three wins in seven races this season.

New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been a traditional stop on the K&N East circuit since 1990. It has hosted 60 series events, more than any other track. Race winners in series competition there include Joey Logano, Martin Truex Jr., Kyle Larson, Steve Park, and Ricky Craven.

The K&N East race at New Hampshire marks the final of six consecutive weekends of competition for Gilliland. His schedule included three K&N East races: Stafford on June 17, Columbus on July 2, and New Hampshire; and three K&N West races: Colorado National Speedway on June 11; Sonoma (California) Raceway on June 25; and Stateline Speedway in Post Falls, Idaho on July 9.
