Brian Henderson to Run Three Additional K&N Pro Series East Races with PPM

Brian Henderson has begun to make a name for himself in the K&N Pro Series East in just two series’ starts thanks to an expectation-shattering debut finish in the Top-10. Henderson hopes to keep learning and growing his talent by joining Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM) for three additional races. Henderson has selected the K&N Pro Series East events at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Watkins Glen International, Greenville-Pickens Speedway, all behind the wheel of the BDL Motorsports, Absolutely Amish Structures sponsored No. 46 Toyota Camry.

Henderson may only be 18 years old, but he has roots steeped in racing. He has been racing since the age of five, winning his first karting championship a year later at King George Speedway. Henderson raced multiple divisions in the World Karting Association and Virginia Dirt Karting Association from 2005 to 2012, winning multiple races, poles, and a championship.

Henderson moved to road-racing in full-size cars in 2013, earning various wins and titles over the past three seasons. The Virginia-native felt ready to transition to stock car racing in 2016. In his K&N Pro Series East debut with PPM, Henderson powered his Chevrolet SS to a Top-10 finish at Virginia International Raceway. He returned to the track at Dominion Raceway for his first-ever asphalt oval-track race in which he posted a 16th-place finish. Henderson hopes to build on these strides throughout the next three races.

“I am looking so forward to continuing this partnership with Precision Performance Motorsports”, said Henderson. “These past two races have been an amazing experience and I’m very excited for the opportunity to run three more. I can’t wait to run New Hampshire, Watkins Glen, and Greenville-Pickens. Having never run on these tracks, each will bring me new challenges as a driver, but the guys at PPM will help me make strides through each race”.

“We are very pleased with Brian’s progress as a crossover driver to NASCAR from road course racing. This is a unique training opportunity for our team and we have surrounded Brian with the right team, driving coaches and equipment to succeed”, said PPM owner Rick Gdovic. “Brian has done very well in his first 2 races and we expect to see continued success in the next events”.

The Granite State 70 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway gets underway Saturday, July 16th. The Bully Hill Vineyards 100 at Watkins Glen International begins on Friday, August 5th and the Greenville 150 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway on Monday, September 5th.
