Cole Rouse – NASCAR K&N Pro Series West Preview – Sonoma Raceway

After a strong top-10 finish, Cole Rouse sets his sights on Sonoma Raceway, his first career road course race. Entering the sixth race of the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West season, the Arkansas native sits sixth in points.

“I felt like the No. 6 Sunrise Ford Ford was a top-five car at Colorado (National Speedway). A broken rear-end really put a damper on those hopes, but we were still able to salvage a top-ten and remain in a solid points position,” Rouse said.

The NKNPSW returns to the two-mile road course of Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, June 25, for the running of the Chevy’s Fresh Mex 200. Sonoma Raceway is one of two road course races on the NKNPSW circuit.

“I’m looking forward to Sonoma (Raceway). It’ll be interesting to see how 67 laps on the road course plays out. I will be able to use this race as a learning experience for the other road course race later on in the season at Utah (Motorsports Campus).” Rouse continued.

The Chevy’s Fresh Mex 200 will commence Saturday, June 25 at 1:00 p.m. PT. The race will broadcast on NBC Sports Network on Thursday, June 30 at 11 p.m EST.
