Josh Williams to Debut New Composite Car at Pocono Raceway in the General Tire: #ANYTHINGisPOSSIBLE 200

Josh Williams, driver of the No. 6 Musselman’s Applesauce Chevrolet for his family owned team will make his 8th start at the “Tricky Triangle” the Pocono Raceway Friday afternoon in the General Tire: #AnyWHEREisPOSSIBLE 200.

Williams is coming off his best finish at the 2.5-mile track last August where he finished fifth. The veteran driver participated in the ARCA open test session yesterday afternoon where he debuted his new composite bodied car.

“Being able to debut a brand new car says a lot about our program and how far we have come over the last few years,” Williams stated. “Our team worked endlessly to get this new car finished so we could get it on track. The biggest difference with the composite and steel body is how you set them up. We found a good base to go off of and we will continue to work on it Thursday during practice.”

“The most important thing about being competitive at Pocono is being able to make the care handle in all three corners. All the corners are so different from one another.”

“Musselman’s and everyone at Knouse Foods have been a great partner for both our on track and off track programs.  It’s amazing how many people come up to me and say because of this sponsorship they only have Musselmans in their house. I look forward to representing their brand now and into the future.”

Before Friday’s race, Josh and will visit five Knouse foods locations on Wednesday in Pennsylvania and do a meet and greet with employees.

Williams will give viewers a unique look inside his car during Friday’s race he will have a live on-board camera to take fans around the 2.5-mile track for 80 laps.

The 22-year-old  enters the seventh race of 2016 sitting  second in driver points and trails leader Chase Briscoe by a mere 45 points heading to the first of two races at the Pocono Raceway.

Fans will be able to relive Josh’s first career ARCA win from April at the Fairgrounds Speedway, Thursday, June 2nd at 7:00 p.m.  on the American Sports Network.
