NASCAR K&N Pro Series East Returns To Greenville-Pickens Speedway March 26th

The first of two appearances by NASCAR’s K&N Pro Series East at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in 2016 will take place on Saturday, March 27th.

The NASCAR K&N Pro Series, which includes the East and the West, is the top step in NASCAR’s developmental ladder before drivers progress to the three national series.

Since 2007, NASCAR K&N Pro Series veterans have made a significant impact at the national level, including 2011 Daytona 500 champion Trevor Bayne, 2015 Daytona 500 champion Joey Logano, and 2014 NASCAR XFINITY Series champion Chase Elliott, along with Ryan Blaney, Austin and Ty Dillon, Kyle Larson, Ryan Truex, Darrell Wallace Jr., and Daniel Suarez.

2014 Greenville-Pickens K&N Pro East Series race winners Ben Rhodes and Austin Hill and 2015 winner William Byron are all racing now in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

This year’s driver roster in the series includes second generation driver Harrison Burton, son of former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racer Jeff Burton, dirt-track standout Tyler Dippel, Carolina natives Ronnie and Dillon Bassett, Midwest standout Justin Haley and many more.

“We’re looking forward to both the March 27th K&N Pro Series race and our Labor Day event for the series later in the year,” said Track Promoter Anthony Anders.  “The drivers in this series are both talented and aggressive. They know that the big teams pay attention and they all want to put their best effort forward every race. We get the series early on in their season and then again as it gets closer to the end of their season so there will be a lot at stake in both races.”

The track’s 4-Cylinder and Renegade divisions will share the card on March 27th, so make your plans now to attend this special night of racing at Greenville-Pickens Speedway!
