Daniel Suarez to Make ARCA Racing Series Debut with Venturini Motorsports

Venturini Motorsports (VMS) announces today that Daniel Suarez will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut at Kentucky Speedway during the ZLOOP 150 on Friday, September 19th, in the No. 66 ARRIS Toyota.

Last month in a highly publicized announcement, Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) revealed the 22-year old Suarez would join the organization in 2015 to compete full time in the NASCAR Nationwide (XFINITY) Series with ARRIS as the primary sponsor.

“I’m excited to race with Venturini Motorsports at Kentucky in the ARCA Series as I continue to prepare for next season and running full time with Joe Gibbs Racing in the Nationwide Series, said Suarez. “I’m looking forward to representing my new sponsor ARRIS and I’m thankful to ARRIS and everyone involved for giving me this opportunity as I make the next step in my career.”

A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Suarez is currently competing full time for Escuderia TELMEX in the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series, where he leads that series, and competes in the NASCAR Drive for Diversity Rev Racing Team in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. He has four wins and six top-five finishes in 10 starts in the NASCAR Toyota Series and has added two wins, four top-five and seven top-10 finishes this season in 12 K&N Pro Series starts.

Suarez made his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut with JGR earlier this season at Richmond International Raceway with a 19th-place finish, and he was a member of the inaugural NASCAR Next class. In 2013 Suarez was named one of the NASCAR drivers 25 and under to watch by FoxSports.com.

Suarez joins Joey Logano (2008-09), Darrell Wallace Jr. (2013) and Cody Coughlin (2014) as JGR development drivers who’ve raced under the VMS banner in the ARCA Series.
