Mason Mitchell Motorsports announced Tuesday that Brad Parrott will serve as the team’s crew chief during the 2014 ARCA Racing Series season for Mason Mitchell and the No. 98 Ford.
Parrott has 18 career NASCAR Nationwide Series victories as a crew chief as he called the shots for drivers such as Jeff Burton, Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Casey Mears, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Reed Sorenson.
“Brad is going to be a key asset to MMM. With the knowledge and experience he brings onboard, I’m really excited about our future,” Mitchell said.
The 19-year-old Mitchell has competed in 24 career ARCA races including 20 of the 21 on last seasons schedule. He scored two poles and six top fives to finish sixth in the driver point standings. Over the final nine races of 2013 Mitchell scored the second most amount of points and finished second in the final two races at Kentucky Speedway and Kansas Speedway.
