Turner Scott Motorsports NKNPSE Previews:Dover International Speedway

Two To Go…With just two events to go, the entire fleet of Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) cars look to rebound with a strong showing on the 1.0-mile high-banked oval of Dover International Speedway (DIS) for a Friday afternoon race. This will be the first start for all of the TSM drivers at the “Monster Mile.”

Get Your Sharpies Ready…Come out to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series (NKNPS) autograph session on Saturday afternoon to meet and get autographs from the rising stars of NASCAR, including the five TSM drivers.

Brandon Jones…Making his second consecutive start in the NKNPSE and his first career start at DIS this week, Jones is coming off a 12th-place finish last weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This will be Jones’ final start in the NKNPSE for the 2013 season.

“I had a great time last week at New Hampshire. I feel like my Rheem team can come into Dover this week and hopefully close out our K&N East campaign with a top-10 finish. Earlier this season when we ran Bristol, I enjoyed the style of racing that high-banked concrete tracks can create and I feel like that was a good test leading into Dover.”

Kenzie Ruston…Not receiving the finish the team was hoping for last weekend at New Hampshire, Ruston and her AccuDoc Solutions team will head to Dover in hopes of capturing their first victory of the season. Ruston is no stranger to high-banked tracks in her career, but this will mark her first start at DIS.

“After having a disappointing finish last weekend in New Hampshire, I am looking to rebound with a strong finish for my Turner Scott Motorsports team. Everyone says Dover is intimidating, but I’m really looking forward to it and looking forward to finishing out the year strong with a couple solid finishes.”

Ben Rhodes…Coming off his second top-five finish of the season and his fifth top-10 in just six K&N East races, Rhodes looks to add to that total in his first trip to the “Monster Mile.” Rhodes and the No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions team will take the chassis nicknamed “Sweetness” to Dover. “Sweetness” ran at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this season and was fastest on the charts before slipping in oil and sending Rhodes into the outside wall, forcing him to go to a backup car.

“I have been very excited since the start of the season to go to Dover. I have never been there, but everyone keeps telling me how fun it is to drive, especially diving off into the corners with the elevation change and how fast it is. My Turner Scott Motorsports team is bringing a chassis that is excellent on high-banked concrete tracks, so we are looking for a strong run and hopefully we will drive the No. 41 Alpha Energy Solutions Chevrolet into victory lane.”

Dylan Kwasniewski…Despite a disappointing finish last week at New Hampshire, Kwasniewski was able to leave with the points lead with just two events remaining. Kwasniewski will be making his first start at Dover and looks to rebound and capture the Rockstar Energy Drink/Royal Purple team’s sixth victory of the season.

“I am ready to take on the Monster Mile. New Hampshire didn’t go very well for my team, so we really want to get our championship run back on track this weekend at Dover. I’ve never been there before, but I know my Turner Scott Motorsports team will bring a great car like always, so I plan to contend for another victory this weekend.”

Austin Dyne…Coming off a disappointing day at New Hampshire last weekend, Dyne looks to make his first start at the “Monster Mile” and close out the season with a couple solid finishes.

“Last week we had a little misfortune when our engine expired early in the race, so I wasn’t able to deliver the finish that I thought our KMC Wheels team deserved. I’m looking forward to getting back on track and finishing the season out on a strong note.”
