David Ragan Hosts MHP Guests at Talladega

David Ragan will arrive to the Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway for Sunday’s 500-mile NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event with a few guests courtesy of his sponsor Maximum Human Performance (MHP). MHP, the season-long partner of Ragan and Front Row Motorsports, will be hosting VH1 Mob Wives reality TV star Drita D’Avanzo and their recent “One Hot Mother” model search winner Crystal Marie at the track this weekend. Both will be helping Ragan and the race team continue to educate fans about MHP products 8-Hour Alert and Fit & Lean Power Pak Pudding.

Ragan and Marie will be joined by Front Row Motorsports teammate David Gilliland this Friday night during a “MHP store takeover” at the GNC at the Riverchase Galleria in Birmingham, Alabama. The trio will be signing autographs and fans can purchase MHP products, which will all be on sale.

“It’s going to be fun to come to Talladega and have some new guests of the team with us,” said Ragan. “I think having Drita and Crystal there will add more excitement to what is already a pretty exciting race. And, we have some cool things lined up too. Friday night will be a lot of fun with David and Crystal. Hopefully everyone can come on out.”

Ragan, one of the most fit athletes in the Sprint Cup Series garage, has been supported by MHP all season, along with his Front Row Motorsports pit crew. The driver and team have been powered by Power Pak Pudding and most recently by their new energy tablet supplement, 8-Hour Alert. 8-Hour Alert is a concentrated bi-layer tablet that is designed for both fast-acting and long-lasting energizing power and mental alertness. MHP recently began a partnership with Mob Wives star Drita, as well as crowning Marie as a spokesmodel for 8-Hour Alert following her One Hot Mother model search win. Both are users of MHP products like Ragan.

“Working out, being in shape, both mentally and physically, is really important to any good driver,” said Ragan. “I think at any plate race you need to have that extra alertness and that’s what 8-Hour Alert is all about. It’s already helped us this season and Sunday will be no different.

“And it’s cool to see Drita and Crystal here helping us talk to the fans about it, too,” continued Ragan. “They are two women who care about their bodies and being fit. Just as it’s important in their lives, it’s highly important in the world of racing where any advantage is a big one.”

In addition to the colors of 8-Hour Alert on the No. 34 Ford Fusion this weekend, MHP has partnered with D’rita to help bring awareness to her charitable foundation, “Single But Not Alone,” which helps support single mothers. The “Single But Not Alone” message will also be on the car this weekend. MHP is donating a portion of their 8-Hour Alert sales to the foundation and has already donated $5,000 to support the cause.

“We’re proud to partner with the ‘Single But Not Alone’ foundation and it’s awesome that we can bring the message to the track this weekend,” said Gerard Dente, MHP President. “This means a lot to Drita, who lives as a single mother and this is our part to continue to help spread the news about the foundation.”

Ragan heads into Talladega with 11 previous starts. He has four top-10 and two top-five finishes. He is regarded as one of the best plate racers currently on the circuit. He finished seventh in April at the track, his best finish with Front Row Motorsports.
