Ryan Truex, driver of the No.83 Burger King / Dr Pepper Toyota Camry was involved in a single-car crash during practice at the Michigan International Speedway on Saturday.
Truex was transported to a local hospital where he underwent CT scans of his head, neck, chest and abdomen, which were all negative.
Truex was diagnosed with a concussion. He will follow the NASCAR guidelines to return to racing.
JJ Yeley will pilot the No.83 Burger King / Dr Pepper Toyota Camry in tomorrow’s Pure Michigan 400.
