TriStar Motorsports and Ingersoll Rand Partner Up at Bristol Motor Speedway

Ingersoll Rand (NYSE:IR), the Official Power Tools of NASCAR®, will be the primary sponsor of driver Blake Koch and TriStar Motorsports this weekend in the NASCAR XFINITY Series™race at Bristol Motor Speedway. On Fri., Aug. 21, 2015, Koch will don the Ingersoll Rand fire suit for his 22nd race of the year as he turns the corners in the No. 8 Ingersoll Rand Toyota Camry.

“I’m proud to represent the long tradition of Ingersoll Rand racing for the first time in the NASCAR XFINITY Series,” says Blake Koch, a five-year veteran of the series. “For more than 55 years, Ingersoll Rand has supported NASCAR drivers on the track and our crew teams in the pits, providing real tools for the real work that we depend on when we’re out there in the race.”
In addition to taking over the half-mile track in Bristol, Tennessee, Koch will take over Ingersoll Rand’s social media sites on Facebook (Facebook.com/ingersollrand), Twitter (@IRProducts) and Instagram (@IRTools), posting real-time photos and video from the infield, the pits and the seat of the Ingersoll Rand Toyota Camry.

As an associate sponsor of TriStar Motorsports, the Ingersoll Rand brand has its place on the No. 8 car each week of the 2015 season and on the apparel of the hardworking crew members who service it.

“We use the Ingersoll Rand Thunder Gun and many other Ingersoll Rand tools in our garage and always will – no matter whether they are a sponsor or not,” said Matt Lucas, crew chief of the TriStar Motorsports team. “We count on Ingersoll Rand tools to prepare our cars during the week, and to service them while at the track. They keep our cars running fast week in and week out during the entire season and they never let us down.”

The associate sponsorship of TriStar Motorsports is one part of Ingersoll Rand’s ongoing motorsports and racing program that includes multiple sponsorships and events.
