Johanna Long Kentucky Speedway Advance

Johanna Long and the No. 70 ML Motorsports team will return to NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) action this Saturday, September 22 at Kentucky Speedway. The Kentucky 300 will be broadcast live on ESPN with coverage beginning at 3:30 p.m. EDT.  The race can also be heard on MRN Radio as well as Sirius/XM Radio channel 90.

Kentucky Speedway– Long will take to the 1.5-mile track of Kentucky Speedway for the second time this season. Her last start at Kentucky took place in June, where the 20-year-old Rookie started from the rear after taking a spin during qualifications. Starting from the 43rd position, Long and the ML Motorsports team battled back to secure a top-20 finish.

This Weekend’s No. 70 Keen Parts Chevrolet-The ML Motorsports team will take chassis No. 63 to this Saturday’s event at Kentucky. This chassis was last utilized at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Long raced competitively in 16th before experiencing part failure to the universal joint on the drive draft, forcing the team to a 30th-place finish.

Last Race Recap-Long and the ML Motorsports team visited Chicagoland Speedway last Saturday for the Dollar General 300 powered by Coca Cola. Long started the 200-lap event from the 17th position and finished in 21st.

Meet Johanna-Fans will have the opportunity to meet Johanna at the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver autograph session on Saturday, September 22 at Kentucky Speedway. The autograph session will be held in the Infield Fan Zone from 11:00-11:45 a.m.

Long on Returning to Kentucky Speedway -“I’m really looking forward to going back to Kentucky Speedway for the second time this season,” commented Long. “We had a pretty good car here back in June, and the guys have been working extremely hard in the shop. Hopefully we can have another solid run and improve on our 19th-place finish.”
