Blake Koch will once again bebehind the wheel of a MacDonald Motorsports Dodge, this time being theSilverSaver® No. 82 in the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona InternationalSpeedway on July 6th. In2011, Blake ran the entire season with MacDonald Motorsports finishing 2ndin the Rookie of the Year battle by one point.

Daytona is the home track for Koch, as he was born less than 1mile from the speedway at Halifax Hospital. In February at the DRIVE4COPD 300 at Daytona, Blake ran an excellentrace to finish 17th. In 45career NASCAR Nationwide Series starts, Blake has earned 10 top-20 finisheswith a career best result of 14th twice in 2011.
“It’s going to be great to have Blake back in our racecar atDaytona next month, explained Randy MacDonald. “He’s a great young kid with a lot of talent and has really worked hardto get where he is today. It’s going tobe a crazy weekend running two cars in the race but I know John (Monsam) andthe rest of the crew at the shop will put forth the extra effort to make ithappen.”
The Jalapeno 250 on July 6th will mark Blake’s firststart for MacDonald Motorsports since Homestead of last season.
