Gase & Team Head North to Pocono Raceway

Gase & Go Green Racing will pack up and head back on the road. They will head up North to Pocono Raceway to take on the Tricky Triangle. Go Green Racing had a solid weekend back from the break at Charlotte Motor Speedway as Gase piloted his LifeShare Of The Carolinas / Sparks Energy Chevrolet to at 17th place finish.

The XFINITY Series only started coming to Pocono Raceway two years ago. Gase has started every race the series has run since traveling to the track; making this only his third start at Pocono. Gase’s best finish of the two races was a solid 23rd place finish back in 2016 with Jimmy Means Racing. “Pocono has its nickname [The Tricky Triangle] for a reason,” said Gase. “It’s the only track that we go to where it has three completely different corners and straightaways. It’ll be interesting seeing how the weekend shakes out with the new package that we’re running. We’re excited to get out on the track and build on our solid finish last weekend.” On track you will notice the big spoilers, big splitters, and the huge holes in the nose for the aero ducts. That’s because this weekend the XFINITY Series will running be running the same package that was used at Indy last year which includes a resticter plate.

Haulers enter the track later this evening, and the first practice for the Pocono Green 250 begins Friday at 1:05pm ET on FS2. Hoping to build off a solid weekend last weekend at CMS, the team is ready to put the Tricky Triangle to the test with this newer race package.
