The Gun Store of Las Vegas has agreed to become a sponsor on the No. 01 JD Motorsports team and driver Mike Wallace for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday .
Wallace, who is unsponsored for the 200-lap race, and The Gun Store came to an agreement on Tuesday to partner up for the race. Their logo will adorn the hood of the team’s No. 01 Chevrolet.
“This was something we’ve been talking to them about for awhile and I’m just glad they were able to come on board and help us out some this weekend,” Wallace said. “They’re a pretty big deal in the area, train a lot of the local law enforcement people and have become a must-see place to visit for people.
“They’re going to get some great exposure and even have a booth set up at the track this weekend. They were even nice enough to invite the whole team over for some target shooting on Wednesday afternoon.
“We look forward to representing them with a good run this weekend.”
