“That was a solid weekend from start to finish for the No. 2 Dollar Shave Club team. We unloaded fast, and I was really happy with the car during first practice, which let us experiment during final practice. We qualified well too, started inside the top 10, and stayed there for the whole day. It was tough to start and restart the race a couple of times due to all the rain, but my guys kept after it. It paid off, and we got our first top-10 finish of the season. I want to thank Dollar Shave Club for all their support as well. This has been an awesome program to be part of, and I hope the #DSC500 winners enjoyed the race.”

“I’m glad that we got to race to the finish today even though the rain tried to put a damper on it. I always enjoy getting to drive these Xfinity cars with the RCR boys. This was my first time flying the Cabela’s colors for Johnny Morris. He’s supported me my entire career with Bass Pro Shops, and I’m glad that we can help bring Cabela’s into the fold. This team kept digging all weekend. We didn’t have the balance of our Chevrolet exactly where we needed it, but we kept working on it. I’m looking forward to being back with this team after Easter in Texas.”

“I feel like from where we unloaded in practice on Friday, we made solid gains on it all weekend and had decent speed. We were playing our cards the best we could to maximize our stage points today. We put ourselves in position to race for the win at the end of the second stage, but lost some track position when we had to pit after that and restarted about 16th. We showed the strength of this South Point Hotel & Casino Chevrolet by being able to drive back into the top five. I had to abuse the front tires to do that. I thought we would be in good shape but it just started fading there at the end. I’m proud of the effort of this team. We’re doing what we need to be doing, and that is putting solid days together. If we keep doing that we’ll find ourselves in position sooner rather than later.”
