Ross Chastain and team JD Motorsports with Gary Keller had a solid day at Atlanta Motor Speedway, bringing the No. 4 Flex Seal Chevrolet Camaro home in the 16th position in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series Rinnai 250.
Chastain made the second round of Rinnai 250 qualifying and started the race 24th.
“Our Flex Seal Chevy ran really well today,” said Chastain. “This is definitely a step forward for the No. 4 team here at Atlanta where I’ve struggled in the past. The car was back and forth between loose and tight, but each change that the crew made helped. This is a good start to the year for our mile-and-a-half program.”
Next up for the NASCAR Xfinity Series is the Boyd Gaming 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 3rd, 2018.
