Vinnie Miller Excited to Kick Off The 2018 Xfinity Season at Daytona

After a long winter, Vinnie Miller is eager to start his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in the season-opening PowerShares QQQ 300 at Daytona International Speedway. Flex Glue, the newest edition to the Flex Seal family of products, will be on board Miller’s No. 01 JD Motorsports with Gary Keller Chevrolet Camaro as the primary sponsor.

This will be Miller’s first time racing at Daytona International Speedway. Miller only has one other super speedway race under his belt, but it was a stand-out race at Talladega Superspeedway in which Miller finished 7th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series October race.

“I can’t wait to get down to Daytona to compete in my first NASCAR Xfinity Series race of the season,” said Miller. “I am super excited and super nervous at the same time.  I have been out of the seat awhile and this will be my first time being back on the track. It will be a big learning curve.  I know it will be similar to being at Talladega in the truck.  It will be fun driving with veteran drivers who I know I will learn a ton from. I just want to learn as much as possible, have fun and try to bring home a solid finish for Flex Glue, JAS Expedited Trucking, and JD Motorsports.”

The NASCAR Xfinity Series with take over the track for the first time in 2018 on Friday with practice scheduled for 12:05 p.m. and 2:05 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying will start at 9:35 a.m. on Saturday, and the PowerShares QQQ 300 will get the green flag at 2:30 p.m. (ET) on FS1.
