With a Playoff spot secure, Jeremy takes his winning momentum and Grandfather Crawford as his passenger

Jeremy and JCR are still on cloud nine after shocking the NASCAR world with his first career win at Road America this past Sunday.  They will now take that winning momentum into Darlington and #NASCARThrowback weekend.  The Clements’ family made History Sunday and what better way to celebrate that triumph than remembering the accomplishments of Jeremy’s Grandfather, Crawford Clements.  “I still can’t believe what our team did last week it’s just unreal and now we come to our home track and honor my Grandfather and wheelman, A.J. Foyt that’s just more than I could ever imagine,” said Clements.

JCR will be sporting the colors of Crawford’s last win as a crew chief in 1964 at Daytona in July with A.J. Foyt as the driver.  Crawford and his brother Louis were renowned for their engine building prowess in NASCAR in the 50’s and 60’s, but Crawford also managed to win all three races he crew chiefed: 1961 with Junior Johnson, 1963 with Buck Baker and 1964 with A.J. Foyt.

RepairableVehicles.com will again support the JCR Chevy Camaro SS this weekend at the track ‘Too Tough To Tame.’  “This is one of my favorite tracks for sure, but it’s a love hate relationship.  I’m like I love this place one lap and the next lap I hate this place, but it’s all good.  We just hope to equal our eighth place finish from last year or even better a win with a Darlington stripe and all.” said Jeremy.

The regular black #51 RepairableVehicles.com Chevy is wrapped in the familiar A.J. Foyt Red that he used throughout his NASCAR and Indy Car career.

After winning Road America Jeremy is now locked into the NASCAR XFINITY Playoffs for the first time in his career.

Supporting the team as associate sponsors this week are the fans of #ClementsNation in the #RideWithJeremy promotion, Coca Cola of Spartanburg, Flounder, Circle Body Shop, ECOSense Services, RaceArtist.com, Cometic Gasket, Simpson, Rob Ianuario and WIX Filters.
